A Surrey man who relentlessly stalked a radio DJ, bombarding her with messages and gifts, has avoided prison despite leaving her feeling “unsafe and paranoid.” Keaton Adams, 51, from Englefield Green, sent over 60 messages in just three hours, some of which were “delusional in nature,” to Heart FM presenter Katrina Ridley between November 2024 and February 2025. He even showed up at the Leicester Square studio in January, demanding to see her while falsely claiming they were in a relationship.
Adams pleaded guilty to stalking, causing serious distress, and received a 16-week suspended sentence. Prosecutors revealed he sent emails insisting they would marry in Australia and bizarrely accused her of having “spyware” at his home. In December, he mailed coffee mugs to the studio inscribed with, “I will always love you.” Ridley said the harassment deeply affected her mental health, making her fearful of public transport. A restraining order now bars Adams from contacting her, her colleagues, or visiting Leicester Square.
