Katie grandson shares a deep bond with his late grandfather, fostering a meaningful connection that transcends their physical separation. Ellie Katie Couric, the daughter of the well-known reporter, recently welcomed her first child with her husband Mark Dobrosky over the weekend.
On the social media, Couric shared the good update along with a couple pictures of her son-in-law, daughter, and their infant son grinning happily.

In her interview, Couric disclosed that her ex-husband, Jay Monahan, died in the 1990s from colon cancer at the young age of 42.
When her grandson was born, he was given the name that came after his name. The Monahan and Couric family made Carrie and Ellie feel right at home after they got married. Based on what Couric said about Monahan, John Albert Dobrosky was born on March 23, at 8:23 a.m., and weighed just under seven pounds.
In remembrance regarding his biological grandpa, Jay. Albert is pursuing the father’s side grandfather of Mark.
